Wanted: VP of People & Culture

What will you do?

  • People operations: own all people operations processes including performance review cycles; compensation reviews and planning; benefits administration; legal and regulatory compliance as it relates to employment etc. together with our legal counsel, and as we scale ensure that we evolve our processes appropriately.

  • Employee development and retention: develop and execute all learning and development initiatives and help drive a high-performance, high-growth mindset that focuses on career development and growth.

  • Recruiting and talent acquisition: in partnership with our Recruiter and hiring managers, run our recruiting and talent acquisition activities including defining and implementing strategies to attract, hire, and retain top talent across the company.

  • Cultural champion: be a champion of our culture, helping the team understand and live our core values through effective programs that promote morale while achieving our company goals.

  • Trusted advisor: be the trusted advisor to the Management Team, holding all managers to a high-quality standard.

By leveraging Predictive Analytics and AI, the Harver platform can predict whether or not an applicant is suitable for the job he/she is applying for and assists recruiters in selecting the right people. What do we look for?

  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead autonomous professionals
  • Proven success with global Performance Management, Inclusion and Diversity, Organizational Design and Leadership Practices
  • Experience designing and implementing talent management programs
  • Strategic vision when it comes to compensation and benefits, recruiting and retention and company culture
  • Ability to align recruiting and retention strategies with Harver‘s strategic goals and corporate values
  • Previous experience in the use of metrics and measuring for the purpose of designing and establishing benchmarks that measure the impact and effectiveness of organizational development programs
  • Ability to understand demographics of the organization and acts on those demographics to ensure delivery of learning that meets a variety of needs and styles
  • Ability to proactively identify and resolve issues, serving as a trusted leader and partner in the organization
  • Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills for relating to employees at all levels of the organization
  • Business acumen, including the ability to support organizational goals through sound people strategies.
  • Strategic planning, goal setting, and project implementation
  • Thorough knowledge at a global level of applicable laws, regulations, and codes
  • Expertise in Leadership Coaching
  • The ability to advocate at the executive level for strategic solutions that benefit the culture and employee base at Harver
  • Excelling verbal and written communication skills

  • 5-8 years experience building and leading a people team that delivers an exceptional employee experience

  • Experience scaling the People function in a hyper-growth startup environment

  • Experience in creating and executing programs to translate company culture and values to daily practices.

  • Track record of developing innovative, forward-thinking talent development and retention strategies

  • Strong program/project management and organization skills

  • Demonstrated integrity with a business and solution-oriented approach to resolving issues

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to quickly distill important information

  • Proven ability to develop collaborative relationships with internal and external partners, and comfortable interacting with teammates across departments and experience levels
