Harver is offering a position as an intern within its legal team!


Harver is a fast-growing HR-Tech SaaS company. We have created a platform that enables recruiters to make data-driven hiring decisions. By leveraging predictive analytics and AI, the Harver platform can predict whether or not an applicant is suitable for the job he/she is applying for and assists recruiters in selecting the right people. We entered the market in 2013 and since have established offices in Amsterdam, London, and New York. Over two million candidates flow through our system every year and we’re signing new clients on a weekly basis.


As a Legal Intern at Harver, you will support the Head Legal Counsel/Data Protection Officer in his daily affairs and contribute to the further growth of Harver. Furthermore, you will assist in (further) implementing the GDPR within the Harver products, processes, and it's future endeavors.


In your role as a Legal Intern, you will:

  • Research the legal scope of new business ideas in the Netherlands, the EU, and in the USA;
  • Give ad-hoc advice on a wide range of legal matters;
  • Assist in (further) implementing the GDPR and other global privacy laws within Harver;
  • Write memos on the GDPR and other relevant legal topics in the HR/Recruitment Tech-industry;
  • Draft new legal templates and other relevant documentation;
  • Assist in reviewing new vendor/data processing agreements;
  • Assist in drafting new customer documentation;
  • Assist in corporate matters/questions.

Requirements

What are we looking for?

Harver is looking for someone who is:

  • Excited to work in a start-up environment;
  • Accountable;
  • Has the ability to multi-task;
  • Is a team player;
  • Is currently enrolled in a master’s program in law;
  • Is fluent in Dutch and has excellent skills in English (spoken and written);
  • Has strong research skills;
  • Able to work independently.
