To make sure we keep up the pace, we’re looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our team in the Amsterdam office.
We’re looking for talented, hands-on software engineers to help lead Harver through our next phase of evolution.
As a Lead Software Engineer, you'll lead a team of 4-5 software engineers together with QA, Devops and UX specialists. Software teams at Harver independently own domain services and are responsible for their product development, maintenance, releases and integration.
While familiarity with our technology stack (Node, React, Postgres, Mongo, AWS) is a bonus, we’re looking for more than great coders, we’re looking for great software engineers who are focused on delivering great products and inspiring those around them to do so too.
As a Lead Software Engineer at Harver, you'll advocate for our engineering principles: Simple Design, Behavior Driven, Continuous Process, Non-solo programming and Understanding Production. These five principles are derived from Extreme Programming; we also eschew Scrum in favor of more Kanban and Lean styles of working. These are all concepts should you share experience of but also desire a deeper understanding.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:
Reporting To: VP of Technology
Stack: React.JS, Node.js (ES6 & Typescript), Express, GraphQL, MongoDB, AWS & Lambda/Docker. Cucumber/Jest for testing and Jenkins for CI/CD.
