IT & Operations Security Officer

We are excited to announce that Harver is looking for an IT & Operations Security Officer


What will you do?

  • Provide technical consulting to both internal teams and external customers and auditors, communicating technical issues, security risks, and business impacts

  • Coordinate with the CTO, CFO and DPO to develop and maintain a cohesive global security strategy

  • Develop, implement, maintain, and oversee enforcement of control implementations with a goal of achieving and maintaining ISO27001, ISO9001, SOC 1 Type 2, SOC 2 Type 2, or equivalent audit certification

  • Responsible for completing security questionnaires/RFI’s/RFPs’/RFC's submitted by customers and prospects, and working with Sales and Legal on the security aspects of client contracts and proposals

  • Oversee and assist with the design, deployment, testing and management of security controls

  • Identify, reduce, isolate, and otherwise manage vulnerabilities in both off-the-shelf software as well as internally developed software. Provide security guidance to developers and product owners

  • Create and maintain related internal and external documentation

  • Lead organisation wide security awareness program including conducting internal trainings

  • Assist in the management and classification of information and its systems to adhere to regulatory requirements

  • Managing and completing independent third-party security assessments

  • Act as product owner in development of security related scope in our services

  • Background education in computer science and/or business with advanced degrees in information security or computer science, as well as professional certifications such as security trainings, ISO trainings, SOC trainings

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in information security, audit, compliance, security management and governance

  • Past experience with developing and enforcing policies, standards and procedures to enable organisations to achieve and maintain ISO27001, 9001, SOC 2 (or similar) audit compliance
